The Video says:

From the mind of master horror maker Clive Barker (Hellraiser) comes a new nightmare - Candyman. Virgina Madsen (The Hot Spot, Highlander II) takes on the terror as myth meets monstrous reality in this critically acclaimed chiller. Bred from legend and born from blood, the hook-handed demon (Tony Todd) has travelled the centuries in search of his ultimate victim. Now Helen Lyle has broken the myth. She has spoken the name five times. And in a terrifying void between reason and insanity, the horror is about to begin. Candyman, say it five times and pray...

My Opinion:

This is one of my all time favourite horror movies. It is so well made with an outstanding storyline which draws you into the fantasy. The chilling hook handed Tony Todd is gut rippingly good with a voice which will send shivers down your spine and the cherry on top of the icing is the disturbing and moving sound track. Forget Freddy and Jason in the 80's, Candyman is the horror icon of the 90's. If I was to recommend only one film on my site, this would be the one I'd choose every time. P.S. Did you spot the spelling of Miss Madsen's name on the back of the video (see above)?
