In 1974, the world's largest radio telescope relayed a message to the rest of the galaxy. Who knew that twenty years later, the response would be so terrifying? Scientists have received "friendly" instructions on how to mix human and extra-terrestial DNA to create "Sil", a new species. The creature, now a young "girl", escapes from an observation facility, and Chief Scientist Xavier Fitch must stop it at all cost. He assembles an elite team of experts to track down and destroy Sil, now mutated into the shape of a beautiful and erotic woman (played by newcomer Natasha Henstridge). My Opinion:
Very cool film. Natasha is a babe and the alien Sil is a real bitch. An all star cast of trackers try to hunt down the new killer species. Forest Whitaker is excellent as the psychic and Michael Madsen is great as the seek and destroy agent. Beware of blondes who just want sex...
