The Video says:

As a mate for his 'monster', Dr Frankenstein sets out to create the perfect woman. He succeeds all too well. She is not only beautiful and sensual, but intelligent far beyond his hopes. Inevitably he falls in love with her himself. A gothic tale of mystery, obsession and near-madness leads to an awesome climax when monster and mate - as one - meet their maker. This variation of the old Frankenstein story stars Sting, now showing his mastery of screen acting - and Jennifer Beals, the sensational discovery of Flashdance. Fine support from Clancy Brown and David Rappaport, the tiny scene-stealer from The Time Bandits, in a touching portrayal of a monster-and-midget friendship to the death.

Running Time: 114 mins

My Opinion:

I'd never heard of this movie until I saw it in an Ex-Rental video store. As it was cheap, I thought I'd give it a try and was very impressed. Not horrific or gory, but an excellent twist on the Frankenstein story. For a start, the monster is called Victor and he makes friends with a circus dwarf! An enjoyable tale with lots of English actors.
