The DVD says:

In November 1996, seventeen year-old Jeni Wendorf came home from work one night to discover the bodies of her parents Ruth and Rick Wendorf, savagely beaten to death. It was a random, ritualistic killing that horrified the small quiet Florida town of Eustis. And it was Sheriff Mike Dane's job to find out what happened... The trail led to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where a group of Goth kids led by the charismatic seventeen year-old Rod Ferrell sat in custody. They called themselves the "Vampire Clan."

My Opinion:

Based on a true story... That usually means one thing... That it's a boring slow story. Well, this is no different! There's only 2 murders and they happen at the same time. They then spend the rest of the time going through the back story. And don't expect any real vampires, as this is just a bunch of pasty faced youngsters. The DVD has no extras as is usual with these Hollywood DVD releases.
